Woodwind Repairs

The two most common reasons for bringing your instrument to a repair technician, are either the instrument has become unplayable, or it seems harder to play the instrument easily.

It is very easy for instruments to be dropped or get knocked accidentally, leaving the instrument keys misaligned and key work no long operating as it should.

As all woodwind instruments are very mechanical they wear over time, screws become loose, alignment of keys degrades, cork drops off etc.

All repairs are priced individually, and will depend on the time required to complete the repair. I'll be able to provide an estimate after examination of the instrument.

The final cost will depend on a number of factors as further issues may be revealed once part of the instrument has been removed, which were not apparent on initial inspection. Any changes to the estimated cost will be discussed with you prior to work commencing.
